Dear members and supporters of the EATCB,

On behalf of the board of EATCB, we would like to welcome you to the 33^rd Annual Congress of the European Association of Tissue and Cell Banks, taking place in Tampere, Finland during November 12^th-14^th 2025.

The EATCB Congress brings together experts interested in the field of tissue and cell banking, providing a venue for learning, exchanging knowledge, and presenting the latest research developments. Furthermore, the new EU regulation regarding the use of substances of human origin will apply from 2027, which will strengthen the importance of this meeting.

The congress will take place at Tampere Hall, Finland’s largest and most versatile cultural and congress center and event company. Even though Tampere Hall is situated in the vibrant city center, nature is never far away. The large windows let in the beautiful park that surrounds the building.

Tampere, the most populous inland city in the Nordic countries, is wedged between two lakes. The population of the Tampere metropolitan area is 417,000. The lakes and surrounding forests offer a variety of outdoor activities that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Getting to Tampere is convenient. You can reach Tampere from Helsinki airport in two hours by train or by bus. You can also fly directly to Tampere.
